【摘要】:On-line,at-line,in-lineandothernear-realtimemonitoringsystemsthatmeasurefuelgascharacteristicssuchasheatingvalueareprevalentinvariousgaseousfuelindustriesandinindustrieseitherproducingorusinggaseousfuelintheirindustrialprocesses.Theinstallationandoperationofparticularsystemsvarydependingonprocesstype,regulatoryrequirements,andtheuserx2019;sobjectivesandperformancerequirements.Thispracticeisintendedtoprovideguidanceforstandardizedstart-upprocedures,operatingprocedures,andqualityassurancepracticesforcalorimeterbasedon-line,at-line,in-lineandothernear-realtimeheatingvaluemonitoringsystems.UsersemployinggaschromatographicbasedinstrumentationformeasurementofgaseousfuelheatingvaluearereferredtoPracticeD7164.1.1Thispracticeisforthedeterminationoftheheatingvaluemeasurementofgaseousfuelsusingacalorimeter.Heatingvaluedeterminationofsamplegassescontainingwatervaporwillrequirevaporphasemoisturemeasurementsofthepre-combustionsamplegasaswellasthenon-condensedgassesexitingthecalorimeter.Instrumentsequippedwithappropriateconditionersandalgorithmsmayprovideheatingvalueresultsonanetorgrossanddryorwetbasis.1.2Thispracticeisapplicabletoat-lineandin-lineinstrumentsthatareoperatedfromtimetotimeonacontinuousbasis.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
