【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesadatastructureforrecordingnamesandidentifiersofindividualsandgroupsforthepurposesofinteroperabilitybetweeninformationsystems.ThedatastructureispresentedasadatamodelinUnifiedModellingLanguage(UML).Themodelisformedaroundsixbasicclassesofobjects:person(see4.1);personname(see4.2);personidentifier(see4.3);group(see4.4);groupname(see4.5)andgroupidentifier(see4.6).ThisBritishStandarddefinestheattributesoftheseclassesofobjectsinstructuredEnglishandintabularformat,andspecifiesthenameoftheattribute,theUMLformoftheattributename,thedefinitionoftheattribute,whethertheattributeismandatoryoroptional,whethertherecanonebeasinglevalueoftheattribute,orwhethermultiplevaluesareallowedandtheallowablevalues.ThisBritishStandardalsopresentstheattributesasanexampleXMLschema(seeAnnexE).ThisBritishStandarddoesnotdefinehowindividualandgroupnamesarecreated.ItdoesnotprescribeanypersonalorgroupidentifiersbutdoesallowtheuseofexistingidentifierssuchasNationalInsuranceNumberorcustomerreferencenumber.ThisBritishStandardisaimedatinformationspecialists,systemsdevelopersanduserswhohaveaprimaryinterestorinvolvementintheinteroperabilityofinformationsystemsthatusenamesandidentifiersofindividualsandgroups.
